MEMBER BENEFITS

ACCESS
Networking opportunities with consortium members, government, and the international community at annual Workshops, the General Assembly, and the Global Satellite Servicing Forum.
CONTRIBUTION
Members have a voice by contributing to these standards and the foundation for a new commercial repertoire of robust space-based capabilities and a future in-space economy.

CONFERS makes use of its logo available exclusively to members in good standing to encourage them to promote their affiliation and engagement with, and support of CONFERS and its mission to foster the satellite servicing community.
INFORMATION
CONFERS aims to leverage best practices from government and industry to research, develop, and publish non-binding, consensus-derived recommendations for technical and operations standards.
MARKET EXPANSION
Membership creates a channel for small and non-traditional companies to identify opportunities and establish relationships with government, other members, and the international community.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who should join?

Companies, academic institutions, and other private sector entities involved in commercial satellite servicing (including, but not limited to OOS, RPO and ISAM) are encouraged to join CONFERS and contribute their experience and expertise. Government agencies are also welcome in an Observer role.

Can international organizations apply?

Yes, CONFERS encourages both US and non-US stakeholders to become members.

How long does the application process take?

The Board of Directors will review your organization’s application at its next bi-weekly Board meeting, and you will be notified once the application is approved. Following approval, you will be invoiced for the annual membership dues as delineated in the Articles of Collaboration.

How much are annual dues?

Dues rates for the period of January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024 are as follows:

  • $5,500 for Sustaining Members
  • $2,200 for Contributing Members
  • $1,100 for Observers (Government Observers do not pay dues)

Dues will be prorated if a member joins half way through the calendar year.
